Hi Everyone -

I learned about this list from a person on the ACPractice2 list. I've only been communicating for a year, after having my dogs communicated with by a professional. I looked into it more, and found I have the ability. I sent away for Danielle Sender's booklet, and have been practicing with various animals ever since. I really like the practice list, and find that my skills are improving.

This ability has brought me a great deal of comfort the past few days. We had to make the decision to have a dog euthanized this past week. We were heartbroken, but I kept hearing "I want to go". At first, I thought she meant "Home, away from the hospital", but I kept hearing it when she was home, too. After she slipped away, I heard, "Thank you. I'm OK now." In fact, she comes to visit me when I'm crying about her being gone, and tells me, "I want to go play, but I can't when you're so sad. Please stop". She tells me she's found some of our fur-friends who have passed on this year, and the cat we lost a few years ago.

Communication is such a gift. I appreciate having places where I can practice, and talk about it, without people thinking I'm nuts. :)

Sharon.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I know how hard that is.

I'm happy you're here, however.  You and I came to communication in a similar way.  When we euthanized our little boy, Cairo, in April, a communicator helped, and that's what got me interested.

After taking a workshop, I started this board so I would have someplace to practice.  I look forward to reading some of your practice communications, and I will try to get to Kali soon, if no one else speaks with her first.  If you have a picture of her to post, that would be great as well.  (There are photo posting instructions in the "Messages from Bigcaat" section.)

Again, welcome.  Glad to have you here, and so sorry about Kali.  I know she's with you.

I went to Photobucket, and they're upgrading so not accepting any new free accounts right now. If anyone would like a picture of Kali, she can be found at our own website on her page:  http://www.nwk.ca/kali/kali.htm

If you click to her second page, there's pictures of her when she hasn't just been in the water.  :)

All of the dogs on the website have communicated with humans, and they usually have a lot to say. Jayda just had her turn hosting at ACPractice2 and thoroughly enjoyed the week.

I'm really looking forward to practicing with new animals on this list.

I noticed that myself.  For future reference, another site that can be used is:

Welcome to this group! I am also on ACPractice2, and I spoke with your wonderful dog Jayda! It just came to me while reading this post, on how some of us have come together in Animal Communication and It made me think maybe the reason our animals leave us and we get Proffessional Animal Communicaters is to get more people involved into AC. And the more that get involved, hopefully it will take over the world and just about everyone will be able to do it. Not exactly what I mean, as I know it's not the reason our animals leave, but you get what I'm saying right? Sorry for your loss, I lost a great animal friend this year too. And again, welcome to the group!
