"Communicating with Animals: The Spiritual Connection between People and Animals" - Arthur Myers.
Myers interviews heaps of communicators and writes from his own skeptical point of view (he was an editor for the Washington Post). He's kind of funny and comes to be pretty convinced of it all. There is also an index of all the communicators he mentions and how to contact them. It's huge and a good way of searching for one that fits with your needs, location etc. I've read this and definitely recommend it. He talks to Marta Williams, Nedda Wittels and Penelope Smith, just to name a few.

Additionally, Temple Grandin, a doctor of animal science and professor at Colorado State University wrote a book about her autism and how she and others like her think in pictures and lots of random details and thus has seen and been able to scientifically verify the fact that animals do also. It's a thick book, which excites me greatly as I haven't read it yet but definitely intend to.
It's called, "Animals In Translation: Using the Mysteries of Autism to Decode Animal Behavior"

"Heart to Heart" by Pea Horsely is another book that I have read and strongly recommend. It's filled with many anecdotes about her experiences as well as her path to AC. I found it inspiring. She mentions this cat, Stuart, who is like, a regal being, which was my favourite story. It was amazing. Read to find out more!

I am currently reading Trisha Mccagh's "Stories from the Animal Whisperer", which is very similar to Pea's and a pretty good book for beginners to help remove their skepticism via her lovely anecdotes. My favourite was about a goose who, according to him, looked after the whole farm. At least, that's what I recall - could be slightly different, but it was cool!
Namaste. The god in me honours the god in you.

I just ordered "Heart to Heart". I'm looking forward to it.

I'm not sure I could take the Temple Grandin one if that's the one about cows and how she changed the way they go to slaughter.
